Winter Looks: Back Home (Erie, PA) Pt.1

Over the Holiday I had the chance to head back east to my home town of Erie, Pennsylvania.  After living in LA for 10 years, it has been a while since I’ve shot a winter look in actual winter temperatures.  30 degrees seems a lot colder than it used to I’ll tell you that.  Here are a few looks inspired by the cold weather to help warm up this holiday season. Enjoy!

This look is perfect for those not so chilly winter days.  I paired this awesome shirt jacket from JACHS NY with some green denim from PAIGE and leather boots from ALDO.

A ‘shirt jacket’ was a concept I wasn’t familiar with until a few seasons ago.  It is basically a button down shirt with a lining of some sort.  This one from JACHS is lined with the softest fleece it almost makes you not want to wear an undershirt. Almost, then you remember its 30 degrees out and any layer helps._MG_7517.JPGFinal thought:  It is much easier to fake being cold in photoshoots than it is to actually do a shoot in below freezing temperatures._MG_7579.JPG
